Dan GlasscockWith the completion of the acquisition of Sun, Oracle is now focused on creating even more value for customers by engineering innovation.  Dan will share his perspective on new hot technology from Oracle for Java, Virtualization, Development Tools, High speed computing and will answer the question "How many Oracle Branded Products appear in the new Iron Man movie?"

With more than twenty years of Information Technology and Database experience, Dan Glasscock is currently a Senior Regional Sales Consultant Oracle Corporation. Dan has extensive experience in Application Development, Database Design, and IT Management and is well known for his IT Architect and Troubleshooting abilities.

At Oracle Dan spent nine years in Oracle's Advanced Product Services Division where he specialized in Oracle Database, Middleware and e-Business Suite (Tuning, Patching, Financials and Manufacturing). As a part of the Advanced Resolution Team Dan was assigned and consulted with Oracle’s Largest and most strategic customers were he provided proactive and reactive support for customers in crisis, acted as a liaison with Oracle development and authored and contributed on several whitepapers. Prior to this, Dan was the Laboratory Information Manager for Sigma Chemical Company.

Dan holds a Masters in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville a Masters in Business Administration in Global Management from the University of Phoenix
